‘Stop Hillary’ TV Ads Launched

January 25, 2007

This coming Saturday, when Hillary Clinton arrives in Iowa for the first time,
she’ll be greeted by a series of TV commercials featuring Democrats who want
no part of her as a candidate for the presidency.

The 60-second TV spots, which bear the title "Trust" are the brainchild
of the Stop Hillary PAC, a group chaired by former New York congressman and
NewsMax.com columnist John LeBoutillier. They feature registered Iowa Democrats
who all agree that Sen. Clinton cannot be trusted.
LeBoutillier stressed the fact that the commercial features only registered
Iowa Democrats and exposes what he called "Hillary’s biggest underlying
problem: people — even liberal, hard-core Democrats — do not trust
her."

This commercial, he added, dovetails with recent polling in Iowa that show that
75-90 percent of Iowa Democratic caucus-goers are already against her. "This
lack of trust is her biggest underlying problem, — and our ad shows it
quite clearly — as caucus-going Democrats tell viewers that in their own
words," he said.
Beginning Saturday, the ads will appear on Fox News Channel, CNN, and MSNBC
all over Iowa - except for the Omaha market, according to LeBoutillier who said
he had committed $20,000 to pay for the initial commercials.

Hillary’s Hollywood Friends Switch Sides

January 25, 2007

Is Hollywood abandoning Hillary?

On Wednesday morning, hundreds of Hollywood’s movers and shakers received an
invitation that they may find hard to refuse.

They’ve been invited to come meet Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic Party’s
new superstar. He already has the buzz, but can he bring home the prize?

Movie moguls Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg want their
Hollywood peers to join them at a Feb. 20 fundraiser the three are throwing
for Obama.

For $2,300 a person and $4600 a couple, they can meet the candidate at a reception
at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Those who commit to raising
$46,000 (10 couples/20 tickets) for the evening will be invited to a private
dinner at Geffen’s Malibu, Calif., home.

The fundraiser represents a major slap for Obama’s main competitor, Sen. Hillary
Clinton, who has received financial support from all three moguls in the past.
Their company, Dreamworks SKG, has contributed $47,000 to Clinton since her
2000 New York Senate campaign.

Peter Paul: How Bill & Hillary Clinton Collapsed Stan Lee Media

January 24, 2007

Email From Peter Paul

Under the radar and ignored by the mainstream media is a very, very big problem
for one Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton. That problem is the Clinton role in the
collapse of Stan Lee Media, a public company. HOW THE CLINTONS COLLAPSED STAN
LEE MEDIA

Below is the Aug. 15, 2000 press release memorializing the joint venture with
Japanese business partner Tendo Oto. Behind the scenes, Jim Levin, Clinton’s
eyes and ears in dealing with Peter Paul, used proprietary information and stole
the Japanese business partner. When Oto’s promised 5-7 mil did not come for
the American joint venture in November 2000, a cash crunch collapsed the company.
The agreement between Levin and Oto, with Clinton as silent partner, was recorded
in Illinois just six days after Hillary was elected. Their interference destroyed
the company.

For all the naysayers who claim this will go nowhere, you need to wake up and
smell the Clinton. The case is going to court. The business fraud will be exposed
with extensive evidence, witness testimony, and home videos. Finally, the press
is going to be forced to report on four fraudulent FEC filings and the largest
campaign finance fraud in history.

PRESS RELEASE just three days after the Hollywood Gala
Salute to President William Jefferson Clinton.

Stan Lee Media and Venture Soft in Joint Venture To Bring Stan Lee Franchises
to Japan and Korea

Los Angeles, Aug. 15 2000 — Stan Lee Media, Inc., the multimedia production,
marketing, and licensing company founded by pop-culture icon Stan Lee, announced
today it has reached an agreement with Venture Soft Co., Ltd., Asia’s leading
creator and aggregator of anime and manga, to form a joint venture that will
bring the U.S. company’s globally branded superhero and fantasy story franchises
to Asia.

The Asian joint venture — to be called SLM Japan — comes on the heels of a
similar agreement between Stan Lee Media and Fox Kids Latin America. Like the
Latin American deal, it reflects Stan Lee Media’s long-term strategy of partnering
with strong regional communication companies to introduce its branded content
via the Internet and then leveraging it into global partnerships.

Initially, SLM Japan will produce, distribute, license, and market Japanese
and Korean versions of all of Stan Lee Media’s Webisodes — as the company’s
animated Internet series are known — including its flagship series "7th
Portal" and "The Backstreet Project," a new series featuring
super-hero alter-egos of the international pop sensations, The Backstreet Boys.
SLM Japan will also have the option to extend distribution of these, and other
Stan Lee Media entertainment franchises, to all of Asia.

Under terms of the agreement, which followed Venture Soft’s commitment to invest
at least $5 million in Stan Lee Media, Stan Lee Media and Venture Soft will
own equal shares in the joint venture. Venture Soft will also assist SLM Japan
in moving towards an IPO in Japan.

"This joint venture further enhances SLM’s strategy for developing and
producing branded content with global appeal, introducing it to audiences on
the Internet, and then exploiting it offline through the traditional media value
chain," said Stan Lee Media CEO and president Ken Williams. "We are
looking forward to bringing the Stan Lee brand to Japanese- and Korean-speaking
fans, and to continuing to explore these vast untapped international licensing
potentials." "SLM Japan will be the first to combine the creative
talents of Stan Lee and the technical innovations of Stan Lee Media with the
top anime creators in the world," said Venture Soft CEO Tendo Oto. "This
represents an unprecedented opportunity for two of the most influential forces
in animation to work together creating brands and characters that will appeal
to fans worldwide."

SLM Japan will capitalize on the global appeal of Stan Lee’s uniquely accessible
superhero and fantasy stories, which over the years have demonstrated an unparalleled
ability to transcend international cultural boundaries. The co-creator of such
classic characters as Spider-Man, The X-Men, and The Incredible Hulk, Lee will
become the first Western artist to receive Honorary Membership in the Japan-China
Digital Manga Association when the association meets in Beijing later this month.

been published in 100 countries and 27 languages. The company has partnered
with a range of globally branded talent and content creators, including one
of the most popular singing groups in the world, the Backstreet Boys, to establish
the largest independent creator and aggregator of globally branded entertainment
franchises on the Internet. The company is establishing its website as a leading
destination site on the World Wide Web for animation, interactive games, community,
commerce and other "sticky-content." The company’s two hit animated

Hillary Pans President’s State of the Union Speech

January 24, 2007

Statement of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton on President Bush’s State of the Union address…Jan. 23, 2007…

“There is no doubt that the state of our union needs to be much stronger. We face tremendous challenges in Iraq and Afghanistan, continuing threats to our national and homeland security and crises here at home in health care and energy. But tonight, the President fell far short of the vision and solutions needed to meet these challenges and move our country forward.

“The President finally acknowledged the problem of global warming and the need to develop alternative energy sources, but he did not offer a real plan to deal with climate change or to put us on a path to energy independence. The President finally addressed the need to deal with the health care crisis, but offered a proposal that does nothing make health insurance more affordable or accessible for the millions of uninsured and underinsured Americans. The President called for No Child Left Behind to be reauthorized this year, but has failed to ensure the funding needed to fulfill the promise of this landmark law. And instead of charting a new course in Iraq, including the political solution desperately needed, so that we can begin to bring our troops home, the President continued his defense of failed strategy and his escalation plan in Iraq.

“Sadly, there was so much that the President left unsaid, including the need to help the thousands of responders, workers and others suffering devastating health effects from their exposure to the toxic fumes and dust at Ground Zero. Tonight, we lost another of our 9/11 heroes. Cesar Borja was a retired NYPD police officer who worked at Ground Zero. He started getting sick in the summer of 2002 with a cough that wouldn’t stop. After a series of misdiagnoses, in the fall of 2006 he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis that tonight took his life. His son, Caesar Borja, Jr., had traveled today to Washington as my guest to attend the State of the Union address as a reminder to the President of our continuing obligation to help those who sacrificed their lives and health in the aftermath of 9/11. As we mourn the loss of Cesar Borja and keep the Borja family tonight in our thoughts and prayers, we are reminded that thousands like Cesar Borja desperately need help and I hope that the President in his budget will provide the funding needed to provide the health care our 9/11 heroes need and deserve.

“It is time for bold but practical solutions. And it is past time to take the steps needed to create opportunity again for our families, our communities and our children.”

Obama Beats Hillary in Website Traffic

January 24, 2007

If website hits were votes for the 2008 presidential election, Sen. Barack Obama
(D-Ill.) would be the clear winner.

Twelve percent of Internet surfers who visit www.senate.gov click to the freshman
senator’s homepage, according to rankings on Alexa.com, which tracks website
traffic. Obama’s site gets more hits than any other senator’s, and,
much like his popularity, those hits have increased over the last month.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), who made her official presidential announcement
last Saturday, pulls 7 percent of Internet surfers to her site from the main
Senate page. Her numbers rose to current levels Monday after stagnating at 4
percent for the last month.

But Republicans are falling even further behind Obama.

Likely GOP presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) is tied with Sen.
Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), pulling only 2 percent of senate.gov users to his
site. The percentage of users he gets has also fallen over the last month.

Web surfers haven’t been too keen on 2004 Democratic nominee Sen. John
Kerry (D-Mass.), who hasn’t ruled out another presidential bid. Kerry
has lured 1 percent of Senate website users to his site.

The junior senator from New York cooled her heels for some five minutes before
her counterpart from Illinois was done on CNN.

Little did Clinton know — she was about to get revenge.

Obama was slated to follow her on ABC, and since she was late, it was suddenly
his turn to wait for her.

He was trapped — forced to engage in small talk with reporters about his hometown
Chicago Bears playing in the Super Bowl, while carefully avoiding answering
questions about when he would go to Iowa — an early and important stop in the
campaign wars.

Finally, an ABC producer came to tell Obama that the network was ready for
him to come to its camera position, on a balcony outside.

As Obama was going out, Clinton was coming in.

"Hillary, it’s not too cold out there, is it?" he asked as they squeezed
by one another.

"No," she replied with a smile

But will they be as cordial in snowy Iowa and New Hampshire, when both are
courting voters?
