Hillary plays gender card; ‘I just wish that it were a little more of an even playing field’…

February 29, 2008

Whiny Hillary is facing the biggest loss of her '35 years' and all she can think to do is play the gender and victim cards.  Hey, it's worked for her before!  Hillary does not have the character to be president, and hopefully after the next round of primaries, she will be gone.

From ABC News Political Punch

In an interview with ABC News' Cynthia McFadden to air on this evening's "Nightline," Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., says it's tougher for her to run as a woman than it is for her male opponent.

Asked why she thinks so many women may be feeling sorry for her, Clinton said, "I think a lot of women project their own feelings and their lives onto me, and they see how hard this is.  It's hard.  It's hard being a woman out there.  It is obviously challenging with some of the things that are said that are not even personal to me so much as they are about women.

"And I think women just sort of shake their head," Clinton continued. "My friends do.  They say, 'Oh, my gosh, this is so hard.' Well, it's supposed to be hard.  I'm running for the hardest job in the world.  No one has ever done this.  No woman has ever won a presidential primary before I won New Hampshire.  This is hard. And I don't expect any sympathy, I don't expect any kind of, you know, allowances or special privileges, because I knew what I was getting myself into.

"Every so often I just wish that it were a little more of an even playing field," she said, "but, you know, I play on whatever field is out there."

Of course, it might be observed that it likely hasn't exactly been a complete walk in the park for an African-American to run for president, either.

But apparently Clinton thinks — based on this comment — that the "playing field" is easier for a black man than a white woman.

I also wonder if former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C. — and all the other men vanquished by Clinton (and Obama) so handily — think that they had an easy go of it.

What do you think?

Here are facts on why not to vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton:

    a) 35 years experience - biggest Fairy Tale,
no plan B after SuperTuesday with a bankrupt
campaign that resulted in a draw. Has gal to
insult Gen. Petraeus on the surge with her
    “suspension in disbelief” after outsourcing
    responsibility of National Intelligence
Estimate to other people before voting voting
for Iraq war. No compunction to lie nor admit
personal mistakes as if she is our Queen to
    look down on others.
    b) Ready - as the Enabler-In-Chief but not as
Commander-In-Chief if we include her part of
“35 years experience” in Blackhawk Down,
wag the dog after USS Cole and Monicagate.

    c) Smart - just a mediocre law graduate who flunk
the Bar Exam, even brag about knowing Bhutto
family story by incorrectly saying father was
also assassinated. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was
hanged by the military regime that overthrew
    him.

    d) Vetted - refused to release Tax Returns unless
she is the nominee. She must have something to
hide for so protective of her secret source of
wealth when they are personally bankrupt after
    leaving public housing (WH).

    e) Doer - spectacular flop of Hillarycare is the
    showcase of her doing.

    f) Talker - Failed to keep her own promise to
wage a national campaign as she skips a lot of
states by reason of a bankrupt campaign
resulting in her current failing campaign.

    g) Fighter - code word for divisiveness hiding
under the cover of waging campaign against
special interest while hidden hands accept
    campaign contributions. Accumulated biggest
campaign funds last year but still managed to
    overspend her campaign into bankruptcy.

    h) Result - trailing campaign after almost a
    year-long lead among all candidates.Squandered
    all her advantages.

    i) Universal Healthcare - mandate is enforced by
Wage Garnishment despite denial, as shown on
ABC network by admitting to a “mechanism” that
will forced employees to enroll applied on
wages. She did not deny it when Garnishment
was used then, but now denies.

    g) Focus management - all talk and never knows
how to do it producing debacles after debacles
and scandals. Hsu campaign fund raiser,
Hillarycare, Hill Force One to cover Iowa
campaign for a 3rd place finish, bankrupt
campaign resorted to personal loan to survive,
no contingency plan for campaign beyond Super
    Tuesday.

    i) Media Bias - the Clintons are actually
    suffering from Media Adulation Deficit
Disorder - MADD, another term is pea-green
    envy.

Got something to say?
