No End To Bill and Hill - Letters To The Editor
August 21, 2008
The Clintons' continued prominence despite Hillary's loss in the Democratic primaries.
Jonah Goldberg's article is masterfully hilarious ("Monsters in a Box," PostOpinion, Aug. 16)..
The Clinton's are the famous "two for one" couple - Hillary lies and Bill swears to it.
Some politicians have no shame, integrity or ties to reality.
Those who believe in the Clintons also believe in leprechauns and are unable to discern fact from fiction. The Clintons know of this weak spot in the public and use it to the max.
How nice it would be to close the curtain, once and for all, on the Clintons' endless act.

Goldberg, calm down. Our former president and his wife are smart, educated and focused people.
You lash out like a juvenile who does not know any facts about Hillary and Bill, and you sling insults that have no meat behind them.

The Clintons are a matched pair; they're both serial liars.
The only difference is that Bill is also a wartime draft dodger who turned tail and shamed himself when his country needed him.

If Sen. Barack Obama can't stand up to Hillary, how can he be expected to be a powerful force against Iran, South Korea and Russia, among other rogue states?
The Clintons have just shown how weak Obama really is and have, in essence, begun their 2012 run for the Democratic nomination.
If Obama thinks the Clintons are going to help him get elected, he is a very naive man. He's just asked the fox to guard the hen house.

Got something to say?

You should never let a Clinton get in your blind spot. In spite of that, Obama has probably made the best move regarding the convention. If he tells Hillary “you lost, get over it” he gets out of the convention as the nominee, probably. However it would make the Kennedy/Carter train wreck of 1980 look like an ordination.
Obama is no fool. He has moved from a certain brutal war with Clinton to a possible ambush. His chances of getting thru the convention as the nominee are at least as good plus he can minimize Clinton sabotage. “Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer” is a timeless axiom for a reason.
