Key Clinton Fundraiser Defects To Obama Campaign

One of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's major fundraisers, who was ambassador to Chile under President Clinton, is defecting from the campaign and joining Sen. Barack Obama's national finance committee, campaign aides said Friday.
Gabriel Guerra-Mondragon, who was the U.S. envoy to Chile from 1994 to 1998, had been credited with raising $300,000 for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.

Michigan, Florida Deserve Do-Overs

Despite their apostasy in holding early primaries in defiance of the powers that be in the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Michigan and Florida both deserve to have do-over primaries.
It is ludicrous to suggest that their current delegations should be seated and equally inappropriate to disenfranchise the nation's fourth- and eighth-largest states. The obvious and only fair solution is to hold do-over primaries.

A huge Ellen suddenly materialized behind Hillary on a giant screen, interrupting her speech Monday night at a fund-raiser at George Washington University in Washington.
What better way for a desperate Hillary to try and stop her rival from running off with all her women supporters than to have a cozy satellite chat with a famous daytime talk-show host who isn’t supporting Obama?
